TILT Autonomy recently participated in Exercise Northern Strike based out of Alpena, Michigan, deploying the MARV, Maritime Autonomous Rescue Vehicle, in coordination with the Joint Personnel Recovery Agency (JPRA).

During the multi-day exercise, MARV, informally called the “Uber for Personnel Recovery”, successfully demonstrated its ability to operate as part of an integrated search and rescue mission, working in concert with other military assets to locate isolated personnel in maritime environments. The vehicle’s performance highlighted its potential for enhancing personnel recovery operations through autonomous surface vessel capabilities.

Northern Strike, one of the National Guard Bureau’s largest readiness exercises, provides a critical venue for testing emerging technologies in realistic operational scenarios. TILT Autonomy’s participation marks another milestone in our ongoing efforts to deliver autonomous solutions that address real-world operational challenges faced by warfighters.

The exercise validated MARV’s ability to integrate with existing military systems while providing persistent maritime surveillance and search capabilities that complement traditional recovery assets.
